Homepage Structure : Before we jump over to layout part, let me give you a quick idea about homepage sections. The default layout shows only recent posts on homepage. So you have to activate widget sections to display selected posts, and category pages. The homepage combines a nice slideshow with custom options. So administrators can free to choose desired source (posts/pages) and other slider settings.
You can have auto scrolling options and choose desired category and number of posts for slider. Post editor also shows a a slider check box which adds selected article in slideshow.
